Dulcinee Langfelder off-cinars
On November 20th and 21st at 12h15 pm at the Gesù, Dulcinea will perform for the first time an excerpt of her new creation (Phase two of her work-in-progress) of Pillow Talk - an essay on dreaming, as part of the OFF-CINARS 2014. Dulcinea will be sharing the stage with other artists showcasing their own work: Margie Gillis, Lucie Grégoire and the company Nyata Nyata.
"Everyone dreams, even if we don’t remember doing so. Every artist is inspired by dreams, even if they are not aware of it - and aren’t we all artists during the night? Dreaming keeps us sane and healthy. But... why do we need to tell ourselves crazy stories every night in order to survive?
Pillow Talk, an essay on dreaming will be rooted in a collection of actual dreams, recorded half-asleep with the captivating middle-of-the-night voice that speaks to the zone between our conscious and unconscious selves. The more I explore my own dreams, as well as other documentation, the more I believe that dreaming is at the heart of our capacity to think, to feel, to judge, to remember... and to survive."

A simple scenography with a multimedia complexity, a terrible nightmare and a second opus of the series « Obama erotica » (much more pleasant!)
The excerpt presented on November 20th and 21st is the result of of creative residencies at the Place des Arts, the Centaur and the Maison de la Culture Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Dulcinea is surrounded by her loyal artistic and technical collaborators, such as Alice Ronfard for the dramaturgy, Yves Labelle for video design and Anne Sabourin for some of the choreographies.
From November 17th to 22nd, the international performing arts market CINARS will gather artists from 12 different countries. Artists from dance, theatre, music, multidisciplinary arts will performing to more that 200 national and international presenters. A unique opportunity for Dulcinea Langfelder & Co. to present their most recent production.
