Victoria is part of the Official Selection – feature-length films, at 41st edition of the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA)
A world premiere on March 24th, at 8:00 pm, at the McCord Stewart Museum
Having lost her memory, 90-year-old Victoria lives intensely a present intertwined with memories and imagination, humor and fantasy. A sensitive yet tender look on the loss of cognitive faculties that touches the heart through understanding and hope.
Victoria, the film, is the adaptation of the pivotal work of the same name, created for the stage in 1999 by Dulcinea Langfelder, a pioneer of interdisciplinary art. In performance, Victoria has toured in 15 countries, in 7 languages, for more than 20 years!
The film version now allows you to see or revisit this influential work of Quebec’s artistic heritage on the big screen, which offers a delicious degree of detail never seen before.
See it in person at the McCord Stewart Museum, on March 24th, 2023, at 8:00 p.m.
A discussion with the artist will follow the screening.
OR access it online on ARTS.FILM from March 24th till April 2nd 2023!
